What we collect, why —
and what we never do.

What this website collects

We use Google Analytics to understand which pages are visited and how people find us — page views, approximate region, device type. It sets the standard analytics cookies to tell returning visits apart. That’s the extent of it: no advertising pixels, no remarketing, no data sold or shared for marketing, ever.

The site also stores your currency choice (INR/USD) and theme in your browser’s local storage. Those never leave your browser. And if you block analytics with an ad-blocker, everything here still works perfectly — we’d rather lose a statistic than your trust.

What you share when you contact us

If you message us on WhatsApp or email us, we receive what you send — your name, contact details, and whatever you tell us about your project. We use it to reply, scope your project, and prepare quotes. We don’t add you to marketing lists, and we don’t share or sell your details to anyone.

The enquiry form on this website

If you use the enquiry form, we store what you type (your name, WhatsApp number, what it is for, and an optional event date and message), plus the page you were on and whether you arrived from an invitation link. It is saved on our own server so we can reply to you, and emailed to our team inbox. It is never sold or shared, and we delete it on request.

To stop spam and to know where enquiries come from, the form also records your IP address, the approximate city, state and country worked out from it, and the name of your network provider. The location comes from ipinfo.io, which receives only your IP address for the lookup, with MaxMind GeoLite2 on our own server as a backup. We delete IP addresses after 12 months and keep only the location.

The form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to tell people from bots. Most visitors never see it. Cloudflare runs that check under its own privacy policy: cloudflare.com/turnstile-privacy-policy.

To remember that you came from an invitation link, the site keeps a small flag called mi-invite in your browser for 30 days. It stays in your browser and is used only to tailor the page and the form.

Client project information

Business information shared during a project — content, credentials, data — is used only to deliver that project. Much of our clients’ software is confidential by agreement, and we treat all project material that way by default. Credentials are shared back to you and are yours; we retain access only while providing hosting or care you’ve engaged us for.

WhatsApp messaging we run for clients

Some of our products — digital invitations, reminders and similar messages — send WhatsApp messages on behalf of a client business, from that business’s own WhatsApp number, through Meta’s WhatsApp Business Platform. The client connects their number to our app through Meta’s own sign-up window, and can disconnect it at any time from their Meta Business settings.

To do that we process, on the client’s instructions: the names and mobile numbers of the people the client chooses to message, the message content, and the delivery details WhatsApp reports back (sent, delivered, read, failed, and replies such as “Stop”). For invitations we also record when an invitation page is opened and the guest’s reply. The client decides who is messaged and is responsible for having their recipients’ permission; we act on their behalf.

This data is used only to send that client’s messages and show them the results. We never use it for our own marketing, never combine it across clients, and never sell or share it. Meta handles the messages in transit under its own terms: whatsapp.com/legal/business-terms. A client’s data is deleted within 30 days of the client asking, or of their project ending, unless they ask us to keep it.

Anyone who received a message through our service can ask for their details to be removed — tap “Stop” under the message, write to the business that messaged them, or write to us at hello@meharinnovations.com. Details: meharinnovations.com/data-deletion.

Invoicing and legal records

For Indian clients we issue GST invoices, which requires keeping your business name, address and GSTIN in our accounting records for the periods Indian tax law requires. That’s a legal obligation, not a marketing database.
