Who we are

Mehar Innovations is a registered proprietorship (GST and Udyam/MSME registered), based in Surat, Gujarat, India, owned by Nikhil Bhatia. We build websites, cloud software and mobile applications for clients in India and worldwide.

Quotes and scope

Every project starts with a written quote: scope, fixed price, and delivery timeline. The written scope is the agreement — work beyond it is quoted separately as an addition before it’s built. Quotes are valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise.

Payment — the first-project guarantee

On your first project there is no advance. Websites are paid once, at delivery, only if you are satisfied, meaning the agreed written scope, delivered and working. Cloud software and mobile apps are paid in stages agreed in writing; each stage is delivered, demoed and approved before it is invoiced. Later projects are on the payment terms in their written quote. The Guarantee page explains the first-project terms. Indian clients receive GST invoices; international clients receive standard invoices in USD.

Ownership

On payment, everything is yours: code, design, content, domain, all accounts created for the project, and a full copy of the work whenever you ask. No lock-in, no held hostages. Until payment, the work remains ours — that’s the balance that makes the first-project guarantee fair.

Hosting: we host what we build

Everything we build runs on Mehar Innovations’ hosting. One team answering for speed, security, backups and uptime is what lets us stand behind the work, and what makes the first-project 0% advance possible: the guarantee applies to builds hosted with us.

Hosting & care

Builds include one year of hosting and care free — updates, backups, monitoring and support. After Year 1, care continues under a paid annual plan if you choose. If you decide to move elsewhere, we hand everything over cleanly; we don’t run or maintain systems on other servers, so from then on you or your next developer look after it.

Content

For websites we need only a short brief: your logo or brand assets, a site or two you like, and your story if you have one. We write all the text and source stock images where needed, included in the price. Your own photos are welcome but not required.

What we’re responsible for — and not

We’re responsible for delivering the agreed scope with professional skill, and for fixing defects in our work. We’re not responsible for facts and assets you supply (their accuracy or legality), third-party services you choose (payment gateways, APIs, platforms changing their rules), or business outcomes such as sales or rankings — we build honestly toward them but can’t guarantee markets.

Liability on any project is capped at the amount you paid for that project.

WhatsApp messaging for business clients

Some of our products, such as digital invitations and reminders, send WhatsApp messages from your business’s own WhatsApp number through Meta’s WhatsApp Business Platform. You connect the number through Meta’s sign-up window, and you can disconnect it at any time.

You agree to message only people who have agreed to hear from you or who have a genuine relationship with you, such as guests you have invited; to honour opt-outs, including “Stop”; and to follow WhatsApp’s Business Policy, Commerce Policy and Meta’s terms. You are responsible for the content and accuracy of what is sent.

Meta’s per-message charges are billed by Meta to your own Meta account, separate from our fees.

Meta may limit, pause or block a number for low quality or policy breaches, and we are not liable for Meta’s decisions. We may pause sending if a number is being misused or a message would breach policy.

If you disconnect, or the project ends, sending stops, and your data is handled as described in our Privacy Policy (see also data deletion).

Disputes

Talk to us first — most things resolve in one honest conversation. Failing that, these terms are governed by Indian law, with courts in Surat, Gujarat having jurisdiction.
